About Rightly Dividing Truth Counseling
Achieve peace, contentment, and a complete sense of self
Our mission is to help you understand why you feel the way you do, resolve what is causing your symptoms, and achieve peace, contentment, and a complete sense of self.
Are you ready to make a change?
You may be feeling lost, confused, anxious, or depressed…
believing there is something fundamentally wrong with you. We are here to tell you: you are not broken, and healing is possible. With the right support from your RDT therapist, you can finally understand the root causes of your struggles, develop healthier relationships, and stop the cycle of feeling overwhelmed or inadequate.
How WE work
At Rightly Dividing Truth Counseling, we take a targeted approach focused on identifying core issues quickly.
In the first 1-3 sessions, we ask questions to understand your current and past situation and experiences. Once we identify the underlying cause of your symptoms, we help you understand it, resolve it, and build emotional regulation skills and healthy boundaries.
We assess the whole person, including physical factors when necessary, and use a team approach when beneficial. Most importantly, we are committed to not wasting your time or money; if we have not made progress in 3 sessions, we will reassess to ensure we are the right fit.
Why choose Rightly Dividing Truth Counseling:
-
We recognize the crucial connections between brain, body, beliefs, behaviors, relationships, experiences, and decision making. Our comprehensive approach may include considering physical or medical factors, sometimes recommending blood work, brain mapping, or other testing to fully understand what is happening in your system.
-
Rather than just chatting about emotions or managing symptoms indefinitely, we work to uncover why your symptoms are occurring in the first place. This deeper understanding leads to more effective and lasting healing.
-
We establish clear treatment goals with a beginning and end point—not indefinite therapy without measurable progress. If we have not identified the core problem within three sessions, we reassess to ensure we are the right fit for your needs.
-
Our therapists are professional, warm, and understanding while also being straightforward. We create a safe space for difficult conversations while maintaining focus on your goals and progress.
